Three People Killed In Holiday Weekend Crashes

Michigan State Police say preliminary reports indicate three people lost their lives in three traffic crashes during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.That's a significant decrease from 12 deaths that occurred in 11 traffic crashes during the 2013 Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Of the three deaths, one was a pedestrian, one was a vehicle driver and one was a passenger.

Alcohol use was a known factor in one of the crashes.
