What was reported to be a slight chance of snow overnight Wednesday into Thursday turned out to be a real chance, with a dusty covering on roadways across the region. The National Weather Service forecast for Battle Creek suggests a better chance for snow before mid-morning Thursday.

The next chance for measurable snow, according to the NWS, will be Sunday, as a passing system threatens to drop a couple of inches of snow on southwest Michigan.
