One thing the Detroit Tigers can take with them into the Major League Baseball All-Star Break is momentum after their Sunday night finale with the Cleveland Indians.

The bottom of the lineup provided the offense and another solid start from All-Star Michael Fulmer helped the Tigers win 5-3 over the Tribe. Alex Presley had two hits, including a double that drove in two runs in the sixth inning to give Detroit the lead. Jose Iglesias had three hits and knocked in a run from the nine-spot.

Fulmer allowed all three runs in six innings of work to move to 9-6 on the year. Even though he was named to the All-Star team, he will not be active for the game Tuesday in Miami. Justin Upton was named to the American League squad in his place.

Shane Greene and Justin Wilson shut down the Indians the rest of the night, allowing just one hit. Wilson earned his 10th save of the season.

The Tigers are now off until Friday, July 14th, as they open a three-game series with the Toronto Blue Jays. The series opener can be heard at 6:45pm on 95.3 WBCK!
