For the first time since 2005, the Tigers will be sellers heading into the trade deadline. Yesterday general manager Dave Dombrowski said the team will look at trading their free agents now with the hopes of becoming contenders next season.

Pitchers David Price and Alfredo Simon, closer Joakim Soria, outfielders Yoenis Cespedes and Rajai Davis, and catcher Alex Avila are on the market, but Dombrowski said a deal will only be made if it make sense for the team. The trade deadline is 4 p.m. Friday.
