It usually doesn't go well for kickers when they get involved in a play.

Just ask Baylor's Chris Callahan.

Callahan saw his 43-yard field goal attempt blocked by Michigan State with about a minute remaining in Thursday's Cotton Bowl. On the ensuing return by the Spartans, Callahan (5-foot-9) got caught gazing up field by MSU receiver Tony Lippett (6-foot-3) who promptly laid one of the most devastating blocks in recent memory on the Bears' kicker.

Michigan State went on to win 42-41, after trailing Baylor 41-21 earlier in the fourth quarter.
