Trio to Ride Bikes to Brazil to Help Wounded Vets
I met an impressive 19 year old today on the WBCK Morning Show. Shaun Lehane reached out to us to get the word out about a little 15-thousand mile bike ride he’s doing to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.
Lehane, who is Australian, moved to the United States two years ago. His brother, Tim, is a member of the Australian Air Force, and Shaun hopes to one day join the US Military. But the next thing on his agenda is “The Long Road 2015”. He and Tim and their friend Chris Woloszyk are planning to ride their motorcycles from Michigan to Brazil, and we’re not talking about Brazil, Indiana. He says they hope to leave on May 4th or 5th.
Shaun Lehane says “The purpose of our trip is to raise money and awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project and to help out our wounded veterans as much as we can. We aim to raise $100,000 for them and have started raising money already.” He says they have a blog, Facebook, Twitter, and Google + page. For more info, and to help the cause, go to:
