The Battle Creek Central Bearcats continued their winning ways Tuesday night with a 57-42 stomping of the visiting Sturgis Trojans.  Sturgis got on the scoreboard first early in the first period courtesy of Chance Stewart. However, for the 6'-6" senior,  it was more than just two points on the scoreboard.  It was the 1,000th point of his high school career.  Stewart went on to score 24 on the night to bring his career total to 1,022-points.

Curtis Trigg led the Bearcats scoring attack with 19-points and nine rebounds.  Wendell White came off the bench adding 11-points, followed by Joseph Bowser with 11-points and Mohammed Albagami with nine courtesy of three, three-point shots.

Battle Creek Central improves to 8-and-1 on the season, while Sturgis falls to 5-and-3.
