Motorists leaving early Tuesday morning will find foggy conditions with reduced visibility after a fairly weak system passed through the area Monday evening and early Tuesday. The system started as rain, then mixed precipitation, and eventually snow. Temperatures above freezing are expected on Tuesday according to the National Weather Service.

Road crews have been working area roads. Main routes are mostly just wet, with secondaries and back roads snow covered to slushy. In most areas, and inch of snow or less has accumulated. Fog followed the snow, which is reducing visibility to about a half to a quarter mile in many areas.

Meteorologist Dennis Hodges will update the forecast on The Richard Piet Show and all day on WBCK.
