A crash with a wrong-way driver on the interstate last night sent two people to the hospital.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on I-94 near 29 Mile Road just before midnight.

Deputies say the victims were driving westbound when their car was hit; they were taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.

The suspect, identified as a 48-year-old Clinton Township man, was arrested on charges of Operating While Intoxicated Causing Serious Injury.

The man was taken to the County Jail pending arraignment.
