Two Injured in Kalamazoo Shooting
Two people were injured by gunfire at an apartment complex in Kalamazoo yesterday. Police responded to the Interfaith Apartments at around 6:30 in the evening when the shooting was reported. There was no one at the scene when officers arrived but two victims later showed up at area hospitals. A 20-year-old woman was treated at Bronson for a wound to the leg. The woman told police several men were arguing outside of her apartment and then ran in and began firing. A 26-year-old man showed up at a hospital in Three Rivers a few hours after the shooting with a non-life threatening wound to the leg and told investigators that the shooting may have been part of a robbery attempt.
