Two Kalamazoo Teens Dead After Shooting Late Monday

Two Kalamazoo teens are now dead after a shooting Monday night.  Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Officers responded to the 1500 block of Clinton Ave. on reports of a shooting, around 9pm Monday.

At the scene, officers found two 17-year-old males suffering from gunshot wounds in an alley.  The teens were pronounced dead at the scene.  Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting, and to find a suspect.

KDPS Detectives do say that this shooting was not officer involved, despite earlier reports.
