Two Killed In Early Morning Fire

Two people were killed when a Battle Creek home caught fire early this morning.

It happened shortly before 12:30 at a house on Greenwood.

Fire crews tried to get inside the home when they arrived at the scene but were unable to get past the flames.

An elderly woman and her daughter lived in the house and authorities believe both were killed.
