Two Lansing Township Officers On Leave After Fatal Shooting
Two police officers are on leave following the shooting death of a man during a traffic stop in Lansing Township yesterday.
A car with three people inside was stopped at around 1:30 on West Kalamazoo Street.
Police Chief Kay Hoffman says the officer who made the initial stop and a backup officer were on the scene when the person was shot.
Police have not released any details about what led up to the shooting.
Michigan State Police Detectives are handling the investigation.
