Two Wounded in Battle Creek Gunfire

Battle Creek police responded to several calls of shots fired in the neighborhood of East Grand Circle and Spring Street, around 12:45 PM. Wednesday afternoon. As they searched the area, two shooting victims arrived separately at Bronson-Battle Creek, with gunshot wounds to the leg.

Officers found spent shell casings in the 100 block of East Grand Street and searched a house for possible subjects and weapons, but neither was found. The homeowner was arrested on unrelated charges.

The involved parties are not cooperating with law enforcement and the case remains open.
