The United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region does a lot of important work in our area, but some people may not know it.

That's what Impact Week is all about.

Matt Lynn, Vice President of the UWBCKR for Community Impact, appeared on the 95.3 WBCK Morning Show with Nico Berrios to talk about what exactly Impact Week was, and how they were planning on carrying it out.

Impact Week takes place in the last week of November, and is designed to help educate the community on all of the work the United Way does.

The celebrate Impact Week by highlighting all they do, with blogs and social media posts being part of the effort. They've also started a new video series with CEO Chris Sargent focused on impact.

Lynn hopes that Impact Week will encourage people to take part in the work the organization does, either via donations or volunteer work. You can visit changethestory.org for more information.
