The NFL players not standing for the national anthem saga continues with a new wrinkle.

Yesterday Vice President Pence attended his home state NFL football game in which the Indianapolis Colts played the San Francisco 49er’s.  Fox News reported that several 49ers players kneeled during the national anthem.  When Vice President Pence saw that he left the game.

After he left the game VP Pence tweeted:

The interesting thing is whatever messages the players are trying to send is not being sent.  All anyone really talks about is them not standing during our national anthem.  Their purpose has been defeated due to their lack of respect for the country that made them millionaires for playing a game.

Also if they are not standing because they are protesting the police forces of our country then why do they not ask these police forces to stop protecting them before, during and after the game?
