You probably wouldn't call it springtime, but you may have noticed things have calmed down significantly weather-wise this week. Meteorologist Dennis Hodges suggests this week's high temperatures - in the normal range around the mid-30s - will be accompanied by dry and quiet weather. Snowy scenes like the one above, he thinks, are not likely to happen in the first half of December.

In fact, the National Weather Service is suggesting our chances for warmer-than-normal temperatures are better than 50% for the first part of December, as illustrated here in this forecast from Mlive.

If you're dreaming of a white Christmas, you'll have to keep dreaming - at least until later in the month. Meanwhile, enjoy clear sailing to your favorite shopping outlet.
