Wiggly Tail: Adopt Pricilla
Elvis has left the building, but Pricilla is still hopeful for a new home. Pricilla is Elvis’s sister, and we met her at WBCK for “Wiggly Tail Wednesday.” Pricilla is some kind of Beagle-Daschound, and is about 4 or 5 months old. She weighs about 20 pounds and is almost full grown.
She was a shy little puppy, but is making great progress and did great on the trip over to WBCK. This girl just needs a little love and encouragement to come out of her shell. She’s cute and cuddly, and she’s going to grow into and active and playful dog…a great addition to any family.
The Humane Society will be closed on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, but open Saturday November 25th from 11am-4pm.
Come on out to their special Holiday Open House on December 8th from 6-7pm. Come on out and meet the staff and the critters. Have some punch and cookies and don’t forget to bring an open house gift. Here are some of the things they need:
- Paper Towels
- Bleach
- Non-Clumping kitty litter
- Dog Toys
- Laser Pointers
- Wand toys for the cats
- Healthy Dog treats
And with Thanksgiving coming up, keep in mind that fats are bad for dogs, so watch the table scraps. Dogs love apples, bananas and carrots. Green beans are ok but not with the mushroom soup and crispy onions. And above all, avoid giving dogs turkey and gravy!
