Wiggly Tail: Adopt Sabir

Meet Sabir (sah-BEER), this week's Wiggly Tail Wednesday pet of the week from the Humane Society of South Central Michigan.

About 2 years old, Sabir is a German Shepherd/Hound mix with a sweet, calm disposition. Transferred from another shelter, he has taken up residents at HSSCM in Battle Creek.

Sabir has been found to be Heartworm positive, so has begun treatment for the condition. HSSCM tells WBCK he is in the early stages of treatment, but it is expected he will respond well to it and be completely healthy.

Sabir would be introduced to other dogs in a household via HSSCM's dog-to-dog match-up protocol, but it's suspected that he would be happiest in a home where he is king of the hill (the only dog).
