Wiggly Tail: Adopt Sam

Meet Sam, this week's Wiggly Tail Wednesday Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of South Central Michigan in Battle Creek.

Sam is an Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix and is about 4 months old. A little shy at first, he gets over it and becomes friendly fast!

As a working dog whose instinct is to herd other animals, Sam will follow his nose and use his herding instincts. Some obedience training and overall understanding of those instincts will be necessary in his new home.

The HSSCM experts believe Sam will be happy with older children and even cats - and perhaps other dogs. He's an active one, so he'll require a fenced in yard and some activity to keep him happy.
