She's a little shy right now, but Eva is going to make a great addition to some lucky family.

Eva is a Pit Bull/Retriever mix.  You can see the Pit Bull in her little 5-month old face, but the rest of her is more like a Retriever.   She has a long tail, and longer body.  She's about to hit the trails with the volunteers, and that'll help her get adjusted to new situations.  Eva wasn't too crazy about the radio station, but she gave me some hearty slups of the face and I think she liked me.  She's got a beautiful cinnamon coat, with some nice white markings and a pink top of the nose.

Howl-0-Ween is coming up on October 29th to raise money to take care of critters like Eva.   Howl-O-Ween is a fun family event at the shelter. The dog costume contest ($10 per entrant) starts at 11am with prizes awarded for first, second and third place. Immediately after the costume contest they'll have FREE dog and kid trick-or-treating on the spoooky Curtis Whitaker Bark Park trails. Please bring your own goody bag.

The "Trail of Terror", in the evening, is NOT for dogs or children!
