The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for much of southwest Michigan Tuesday. The advisory is as a result of expected blustery weather, with gusty winds and lake effect snow.

The advisory will stay in effect until 7pm Tuesday. An inch of new snow is expected around Battle Creek at most, with more to the west. However, wind gusts around 35mph will blow snow around that has already fallen, causing roads to potentially become snow covered an slippery.
