What started-out as a Trans-Siberian Orchestra tribute band, to raise money for a food pantry, has evolved into a band of its own, performing their original symphonic holiday rock opera.

The Wizards of Winter have been referred to as a cross between the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Mannheim Steamroller.

The band’s lineup features original Trans-Siberian members Guy LeMonnier, Tony Gaynor and Scott Ford. Other members include vocalist Vinny Jiovino, guitarists Fred Gorhau and TW Durfy, on drums Tommy Ference, pianist/vocalist Mary McIntyre and violinist Natalia Nierezka.

This high energy evening of progressive-symphonic rock will take place December 12th at the Kalamazoo State Theater. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and tickets range from $25-$55.

The Kalamazoo Theater is known for its fine acoustics and excellent viewing from any seat. All of this adds up to a great start for your holiday entertainment.
