Woman Arrested For Drunk-Driving Stolen Golf Cart

A 23-year-old Kalamazoo woman is facing charges following her arrest for driving a stolen golf cart while drunk.

Kalamazoo Police say an officer spotted a female driving a golf cart down a city street around 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The officer approached and spoke with the woman, who claimed a friend had given her the cart to drive, but the officer quickly found evidence suggesting it belonged to a nearby apartment complex.

The woman failed a series of sobriety tests and it was found that she had two warrants out for her arrest.
