Woman Holding Naked Baby Arrested

A Battle Creek City Police officer was on patrol, at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon, when he noticed a woman holding an unclothed infant in 28 degree weather.The woman was walking around a parked car, as the officer approached. Upon questioning, the officer found the woman, and her companion, to be under the influence of an unknown substance.

Both suspects were arrested on charges of child neglect and the child was turned over to Child Protective Services. The investigation on the incident continues.
