State Police Troopers in Calhoun County joined in a high speed chase yesterday that stretched from Farmington Hills to Angola, Indiana.  Troopers say the chase started when a woman told Farmington Hills Police that she had kidnapped someone and then took off in a stolen car.  The woman was spotted later brandishing a handgun in Ingham County and was chased south on I-69.  The woman was forced to stop in Indiana when officers managed to puncture her tires.  Several weapons were recovered at the scene.  The 24-year-old woman driving the car told investigators that she had been trying to get the Police to kill her and that she had made up the kidnapping to get them to chase her.
