A Glacier Is Actually Growing Not Shrinking
Well who would of thunk it!
The media is crammed with Global Warming stories yet I have not been able to find much about the Jakobshavn glacier actually growing.
A study published in the Nature Geoscience site states the Jakobshavn glacier, which has been thinning since 2012, is now growing 130 feet annually which is approximately the same rate it was thinning.
This glacier is located in Greenland and the, are you ready for this, scientist are surprised that it has reversed it thinning trend and is now growing.
Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland ice and climate scientist Jason Box told AP reporters:
That was kind of a surprise. We kind of got used to a runaway system…The good news is that it’s a reminder that it’s not necessarily going that fast. But it is going.

For all you Global Warming is man-made enthusiast do not worry you can put your mind at ease.
Why?
Because the lead authors of the Nature Geoscience study claim the reason for the increase is the natural cyclical cooling of North Atlantic waters. They also believe that this increase is probably temporary.
Doesn’t the natural cyclical cooling of the North Atlantic occur every year?
Well again do not worry yourselves Global Warming is man-made enthusiast because the scientist say it is probably only temporary so they will still get taxpayers money to “study” Global Warming.
