A thirty six year old substitute teacher is looking at jail time, after pleading guilty in an attempt to steal violins from a southern Michigan School, last March. Benjamin Ross admitted to intentionally removing three violins, while working as a substitute teacher at Jackson Middle School, and hiding them in a bush outside. The violins were recovered after Ross had left for the day. He has pled guilty; his sentencing is scheduled for November 2nd.
