Calhoun County Genealogical Society will be presenting Author Ernst Floeter at its next meeting: Tuesday, February 24  2015 at 7:00PM. Floeter will be speaking about his latest book, “I’ll See You Again, Lady Liberty: The True Story of a German Prisoner of War in America.”

Ernst will share his accounts of his boyhood in Nazi-controlled Germany and his time as a World War II Prisoner of War, some of it spent at Camp Custer, now Fort Custer. After the war he sailed from New York harbor but not before informing the Statue of Liberty he would see her again.

All meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings are held at Marshall’s LDS Church 16036 Old 27 North, Marshall, MI.
