Battle Creek Police authorities have arrested a 56-year-old man in connection to a criminal sexual conduct arrest last week.

Investigators with the BCPD's Fusion Center assisted in seizing three computers from the man’s property on G Drive North on Monday, and believe the local substitute teacher did not have photos of local children.

The man’s arrest was on a warrant following the arrest of Donald Johnston last week, accused of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old boy. Johnston's arrest was part of a child sexual abuse conspiracy ring investigation by the Michigan State Police in several area counties.

Local authorities are also working with federal law enforcement on potential federal charges in the case.

Authorities say the man is expected to be arraigned sometime this week.
