Battle Creek Man Arrested 24 Hours After Allegedly Kidnapping Woman
A Battle Creek man is in custody this morning, after being arrested in Calhoun County on kidnapping charges.
MLive reports that Michigan State Police Troopers say, a 22-year-old Battle Creek man broke into a home on 47th Avenue in Paw Paw, around 3am Sunday. He then allegedly kidnapped the woman inside, and took her to a home in Calhoun County.
The two reportedly knew each other.
Authorities located the man around 24 hours after the break-in, and arrested the man around 1am Monday. The suspect is now facing charges of 1st Degree Home Invasion and Unlawful Imprisonment.
