Battle Creek Man Killed In Drive-By Shooting

Battle Creek police are investigating a weekend shooting that left one man dead.

According to police, the 27-year-old male victim was standing on the sidewalk near Hanover and Walters just before 3 a.m. Sunday.

Shots were fired from a passing vehicle and the man was struck in the chest.

The victim was taken to Bronson Battle Creek, where he was later pronounced dead.
