Battle Creek's 20-year Master Plan review has been underway for several months. A prior community input opportunity a few months ago addressed citizens' concerns and issues. Now, city planning manager Christine Zuzga tells WBCK a session Thursday evening will focus on vision.

The Master Plan is a foundation document most cities use as a guideline when implementing future plans and projects.

Zuzga says residents have been working together on various aspects of the plan via their neighborhood associations, though Thursday's visioning workshop doesn't require that residents have done so previously.

The session is Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Kool Family Community Center in downtown Battle Creek. Advanced registration is not necessary.
