A suspected drug dealer was arrested in Battle Creek yesterday.  Officers patrolling in the area of Harvard and Harvard Court searched a 34-year-old suspect during questioning and say they found a large amount of crack cocaine. Officers seized the drugs and over $2,000 in cash. The suspect was taken to the County Jail pending charges.

Battle Creek police say they arrested two suspects during a traffic stop that turned up drugs yesterday.  Officers stopped a car at around 11:45 in the morning on Elm Street.  When police searched the car, they say they turned up what appears to be about 2 ounces of cocaine.  A 43-year-old from Portage and a 41-year-old from Battle Creek were arrested.
