Battle Creek Police Investigate Stabbing

Police in Battle Creek say they are investigating after two men ended up in the hospital yesterday.  Officers responded to a report of a stabbing shortly before 6pm near Briarhill Drive and Riverside.  A 36-year-old man was found at the scene with a stab wound to the neck.  The 59-year-old man who police believe stabbed the other individual, had injuries consistent with a fight and was also taken for treatment.  Police say the older man’s daughter had recently been in a relationship with the younger man but they had broken up amid accusations that he had assaulted her.
