Authorities in Battle Creek are looking into a shooting that occurred early Friday morning.

In a release, the Battle Creek Police Department says that around 2am Friday, a 21-year-old man was brought to Bronson Battle Creek suffering gunshot wounds, in a private vehicle.

The man apparently had been shot twice, with investigators saying that the incident happened shortly before 2am, in the 500 block of W. Michigan Avenue. His injuries are described as non-life threatening.

No suspect has been identified at this time, and if you have any information you are asked to contact the BCPD or Silent Observer.
