We're into another spring, and that means it will soon be time for Battle Creek's 2019 Spring into the Arts festival!

The Battle Creek Chamber of Commerce says that they will be"breathing new life" into this year's Artwalk by relocating the event to the downtown Battle Creek Linear Path on the Battle Creek River, from Carlyle St. to the Underground Railroad monument park near the Kellogg House. Some other new additions to Artwalk include:

  • Outdoor location along the Linear Path Downtown
  • Water Bonfires
  • “I believe in Battle Creek” interactive board
  • Live Music
  • Kids Zone
  • Night-time kayaking
  • Food trucks

Because of the new outdoor route, artists and businesses will be under tents.

The event Friday, May 24 will feature local artists and businesses, and this is your chance to be a part of it. Artists can either bring their own tent or rent one from the Chamber of Commerce, while businesses will need to bring their own. In order to take part, you need to apply by May 3.

You can apply by going to the Battle Creek Chamber's website here.

Because the event is being held outside, there is an alternate rain day scheduled; if it rains on May 24, the Spring into the Arts event will instead be held on May 31.
