Kellogg Community College has a new incoming President.  The college Board of Trustees is announcing  it’s pick for a new President is Dr. Adrien Bennings. She is currently the Vice President for Finance and Administration at Clovis Community College in New Mexico. Dr. Bennings is being chosen from a field of four finalists for the KCC Presidency.

She is responding to the offer by recognizing the honor and pointing out she will be the college’s first African American female holding that position. Dr. Bennings says by choosing her for the position, the college is showing clear efforts in diversity, equality, and inclusion.

Current KCC President Mark O’Connell will be retiring effective December 31st with Dr. Bennings assuming her role on January 1st.
