While the Michigan Legislature has been on summer break, Rep. John Bizon and others have been active in their districts and participating in various other activities. This while monitoring the state and national election landscape.

On WBCK's Richard Piet Show July 22, 2016, Bizon discussed the Michigan straight party ticket voting issue - thought to have been eliminated - which has now been subject to a judge's decision that could result in the option being kept on Michigan ballots.

A recently-introduced "Voter's Bill of Rights" bill introduced by Democrats in the Michigan House, Bizon said, could be something with which he'd have some common ground with those who introduced it.

Bizon also discussed the Republican National Convention and nominee Donald Trump. Click the player to hear his comments.
