Governor Rick Snyder has continued to say he is optimistic about lawmakers working to put together a funding deal for road improvements in the state. In his latest visit to The Richard Piet Show, Battle Creek Rep. Dr. John Bizon tells WBCK House and Senate leaders in Lansing have been "tight lipped" about what sort of progress they're making.

Bizon also discussed a proposal in Lansing for a Michigan license plate honoring Battle Creek's Sojourner Truth and her legacy, discussions on medical marijuana and a biosimilars bill on which he worked which is now in committee.
