Body Found In Battle Creek Several Days After Death, Cause Being Determined

Authorities in Battle Creek are investigating after a man was found dead Wednesday night.

WWMT says that Battle Creek Police Officers were called to the home in the 300 block of Morgan Rd, after the landlord noticed a smell. Once they were inside they found the body of the man, which had been there for around 5 days. Right now, this death isn’t being considered suspicious, but police say an autopsy will be performed.

It’s possible the man in his 40s or 50s died due to a medical condition, with the autopsy set to determine the exact cause of death.
