A boil-water advisory was issued for a neighborhood in Battle Creek yesterday.  The city reports that they had to shut down the water system in the Parkway area to make repairs and that included dropping the water pressure.  Water will have to be boiled before any kind of consumption while the city has the system tested for bacteria.  The area under the advisory includes Parkway Drive from Hubbard to Plymouth, Jordan Street from Parkway to Roseneath, and includes the Parkway Manor Apartment Complex.  The tests usually take a minimum of twenty four hours to complete.
