A portion of Dickman Road was closed late into the morning following an accident as the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office investigated the incident.

Few details are known about what transpired but just after 8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning MDOT alerted motorists to avoid both eastbound and westbound Dickman Road (M-96) at Hill Brady Road due to a crash.

By 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office remained on scene investigating the accident with traffic being blocked between Wyndtree and Barberry.

The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office is investigating and have declined to comment on or confirm any information in regards to the incident at this time.
