The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office shared the sad news of retired K-9 Turbo's passing. He was with his partner, family, and many of his coworkers when he passed.

K-9 Turbo was partnered with Deputy Guy Picketts from December 2007 until June of 2016. The good boy started with Deputy Picketts at the Springfield Department of Public Safety in 2007. In 2013 Deputy Picketts and K-9 Turbo transitioned to the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office.

The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office said that Turbo had a stellar career. K-9 Turbo and Deputy Picketts had thousands of deployments together. He was known for his all around work ability in all aspects related to being a K-9. Turbo stood out with his tracking ability and success rate. He had a multitude of track catches and apprehensions.

K-9 Turbo was very popular within the schools of Calhoun County. Deputy Picketts and K-9 Turbo conducted hundreds of demonstrations for the schools and public.

Turbo spent the last 3 years retired at home with his partner Deputy Picketts and his family. The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office says "K9 Turbo will be missed."
