Construction, which began this past spring, produced a brand-new bridge which spans I-94 at exit 92. The Michigan Department of Transportation has announced the bridge will reopen on Saturday. The project was expected to be finished by Labor Day.

According to an MDOT press release, northbound, southbound and center turn lanes will be open to traffic. All ramps also will be open.
Construction on the bridge and ramps will continue after the reopening. Barrier walls will be in place to allow safe travel over the bridge during construction, and some nighttime total ramp closures will be required. The dates and times of ramp closures will be announced in advance.
