A portion of a Battle Creek neighborhood was evacuated Tuesday night due to a potential bomb threat.

WWMT reports that the Battle Creek Police Department Bomb Squad was called Tuesday evening to the rail yard under and near the Emmett St. Veteran’s Memorial Bridge, after someone spotted a suspicious package hanging from a train car.

Battle Creek Bomber’s game had to be delayed by almost two hours.

However, it was quickly determined that the bag on the train was full of trash, and not explosives.
