If you have weather notifications turned on through your mobile data device service or from your favorite weather app, you may have noticed flood warnings and rain storms have been common occurrences in recent weeks. While we saw a few days relief and sunshine this week, the rain is taking its toll.

Thursday afternoon The Battle Creek Enquirer is reporting The City of Battle Creek is conducting park closures due to the large amounts of rainfall. Both the Anybodies Playground along with portions of the city's linear path are currently closed to the public. The Battle Creek river has passed over its boarders and local authorities are asking Battle Creek City residents to be aware of their surrounds when near the lakes and rivers in your neighborhood, and to take caution.

So what are you supposed to do while you and you and your family's favorite outdoor hang outs are closed off and drying out? How about hanging out and catching a game at the Battle Creek Bomber's Party Deck? Check out the link for more info!
