Counterfeit Suspect in Portage Running From Police

On the heals of a similar incident in Battle Creek, Portage authorities responded to a call from Target on Westnedge yesterday when concerns of counterfeit bills were raised. When the police arrived at the store around 4p.m. , the suspect whom was caught on camera at the counter had fled the scene.

He was last seen in a green Chevy Trailblazer. The man is described as black man in his mid twenties - thirties, at around 5 foot 10 inches,  and around 180 to 210 pounds. This man could be located in either Battle Creek or Kalamazoo city areas. All retail and local stores are asked to be on alert and be very attentive to any concerning behavior from customers.
