Democratic Presidential Candidate’s Call For A Quid Pro Quo With Israel

I could not make this up and expect people to actually believe me.  Apparently the left does not have any qualms about accusing and attempting to Impeach President Trump for asking for what they are calling a quid pro quo and then state they would ask Israel for a quid pro quo.

The Washington Free Beacon is reporting that the three leading Democratic presidential candidates, Senator Bernie Sanders, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Mayor Pete Buttigieg are all in favor of conditioning U.S. military aid to Israel based on certain things they would demand.

Do what I say or we will not give you the aid.  Sure sounds like a quid pro quo to me.

Remember Joe Biden on authority of former President Obama said the following:

I remember going over and convincing our team, others, to convince that we should be providing for loan guarantees. And I went over, I guess, the 12th, 13th time to Kiev. And I was supposed to announce that there was another billion-dollar loan guarantee. And I had gotten a commitment from Poroshenko and from Yatsenyuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor. And they didn’t.

So they said they had—they were walking out to a press conference. I said, nah, I’m not going to—or, we’re not going to give you the billion dollars. They said, you have no authority. You’re not the president. The president said—I said, call him. (Laughter.) I said, I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a b-tch. (Laughter.) He got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.

Sure sounds like Biden and Obama demanded a quid pro quo for what they would say is fighting corruption.  Wait fighting corruption, I seem to remember that President Trump was asking Ukraine to uncover and fight corruption.  These Democrats have my mind spinning, are they actually saying they can do something and Republicans and President Trump cannot and is that not called hypocrisy.

The interesting part is President Trump never asked for a quid pro quo, read the transcript.  Obama and Biden did and now Sanders, Warren and Buttigieg said they would.  How does anyone vote for this party in good conscience.

Senator Bernie Sanders demanded that Israel should:

"fundamentally change" its approach to terrorist-controlled Gaza, "I think it is fair to say that some [U.S. military aid to Israel] should go right now into humanitarian aid in Gaza."

South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg called for cutting aid if Israel annexes the West Bank.

Senator Elizabeth Warren said military aid should be cut if Israel is:

moving in the opposite direction" of the "two-state solution

Well that certainly sounds like quid pro quo, quid pro quo and a quid pro quo that makes it a triple my friends.

We need the good citizens of this country to not enable more of this behavior by the left and the Democratic Party by giving them any votes from local to national races next year.
