Not a fan of the traditional Black Friday activities?  Michigan Department of Natural Resources is offering free entry into State Parks on November 29th.

According to M-Live,  the Department of Natural Resources will waive the recreation passport vehicle entry free for the 4th year in a row.

No entry fees for the 103 state parks and recreation areas and 138 state forest campgrounds, boat launches and trailheads.

All camping, permit and license fees will still apply on that day.

The DNR is offering the free entry encouraging everyone to #OptOutside.    It is a good chance after the holiday to get out and enjoy hiking, biking, late season fishing, hunting and much more.

It is recommended if you choose to #OptOutside to be sure to wear bright colors as firearm season in progress.

For entry during the year, a recreation passport is required and are $11 annually.   Check out the Michigan Department of Natural Resources here for more details.
